Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the impact of workplace incivility on employee creativity A questionnaire survey was utilized to collect the data from 315 female nurses of public and private hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan. The results of the study indicated that workplace incivility has a significant negative effect on employee creativity. This research explores the phenomenon of workplace incivility and employee creativity in nurses which is infrequently addressed in developing countries. The key limitation of this research was the cross-sectional. This study was conducted in a hospital in one province; therefore, the data and results were specific to this location. This study recommends that the management should improve the work environment by enhancing the ethical climate and institutional policies to decrease workplace incivility in their organization.
